Ingredients
  

Naan pizza base
  • 4 naan breads
BBQ chicken topping
  • 1.5 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
Cheese and toppings
  • 2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 Ranch dressing for drizzling Use as needed; drizzle right after grilling.

Method
 

Make the BBQ chicken
  1. Toss shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until evenly coated, so every bite has BBQ flavor.
Grill the naan pizzas
  1. Place naan breads on the grill over medium heat and cook until the bottoms start to toast.
  2. Top each naan with BBQ chicken, mozzarella, and red onion in an even layer so the cheese melts across the surface.
  3. Close the grill lid and cook for 5-8 minutes until cheese melts and the bottom is crispy, with the tops looking glossy and bubbly.
Finish and serve
  1. Remove the naan pizzas from the grill as soon as the cheese is fully melted.
  2. Top grilled pizzas with fresh cilantro so it stays bright and fragrant.
  3. Drizzle with ranch dressing for a creamy contrast.
  4. Slice and serve immediately while the flatbread is crisp.

Notes

For the crispest grilled naan, make sure the grill is fully preheated and use medium heat rather than high. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 3 days; reheat on a grill or skillet to re-crisp the bottom. Freezing isn’t recommended because naan can soften after thawing. If you want a lighter option, use part-skim mozzarella and reduce the ranch drizzle.
